To the left is a living space with floor to ceiling bay windows and plush neutral gray carpet. Once inside the first impression is that everything is open, light and bright. It has a beautiful glass insert, a side light, and a transom window above it, allowing natural light to fill the foyer. The front door is very welcoming and a great first impression. A brick paver driveway, lead walk and entry along with carriage style garage doors with black straps complete the look. The homes' exterior has a rich body color with lots of stone and white trim details that really pop. There are neighbors to the right and in the back but that's it! Across the street are beautiful views of green space, the community park, and a playground. I don't recall even a flag out when we were there. This elegant home is situated on an oversized, semi-private corner home site. Maybe some music playing and flowers would help people feel welcomed and know they are even at the right place. I feel it just needs more eye appeal and items to sell to the daytime customers that stop by. It may not have measured up to the what is found in wine country but I look at the concept these folks have there and I think it is a great idea. At this point I became horribly embarrassed as it was my idea to go there. My companion, who often visits wineries and vineyards near their home in upstate New York was irritated because of the charge for samples. Just shipped in grape juices that are then fermented with other fruits like pear or pomegranate. We did not think the wines were serious wines at all. Still, he answered our questions and almost smiled one time. The man inside was polite but seemed bored to have to be there for just two customers. They are trying for a colonial log cabin type look. The deck looked kind of messy like there had been a party the night before. No decor of any kind and the place was just a tiny building with a deck. There was nothing to indicate that this was a winery or shop. We were not sure that we were at the right place. Granted it was summer and very dry but it looked so plain and unattractive. A very unappealing first impression when you drive up to the place. Visited this winery with the odd name while traveling with a friend. The wine is good, but expensive for a local winery. The food here is good: sandwiches, a couple kinds of pizza, salads. We have asked for a reserved table, but they just seat whomever shows up first regardless of a "reservation." Some of us ended up sitting outside at a fire ring on wood benches almost behind the band. SERIOULSY?! It's pretty hard to see and hear the OUTSIDE entertainment from INSIDE! This has happened to us before at this place. Since the band was playing outside, we specifically asked for a table outside on the patio, but since the other group claimed our table, we were told we had to sit inside. Our group went specifically to hear the music that night as most of us know or are related to the band members. This is not how you handle a situation like this! You explain that a reservation has been made requesting that table and the additional people who showed up will have to sit in a different location. We had a reservation for 15 people coming from Sharon, PA, and when we all arrived they told us our table was not available because another (larger) group needed more tables. Don't bother making a reservation here even if you have the required "10 or more" people.
